We focus heavily at CCO on the CPC exam however almost all of our products work well for the CCS. We just do not offer a course in the CCS at this time. To assist people in the forum who are looking at the two certifications or wish to be dual certified it would be beneficial to get input your input.

If you have taken the CCS or have both certification can you please describe the difference and similarities for our members in your opinion.

I for one look forward to this discussion.

I would like to reach out to anyone who has taken both and have them write a comparison for us. Laureen had the CCS for years but I have not sat for the CCS.

True CCS is InPatient. How do you feel the exam compared though. The AAPC does all of it's testing in multiple choice format for example.
